5 Recommended Movies on Mother’s Day in 2015

Before I start let me say a Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers in the world. A mother is a person who despites her tiredness and busyness with her daily work, either at home or in office, she will always love and nurture her children.

For appreciation for our mother we can give them flowers, treat her lunch or dinner, vacation, free from work for a day, watch movie, etc. Here I try to give some movies recommendation to watch for your mother.

There are two recommended movies that recently released.

The Age of Adaline

The Age of Adaline (2015)It’s a story about Adaline, a young woman, who experiencing a near-fatal car crash, learns that she is destined to stay young forever. People around her will age and pass away, including her daughter, yet she remains young. Being young forever makes her to avoid be friends to the same people for a long time. She needs to move places and changes her identity to avoid suspicion.

This movie has a quite good score from audience: 7.4 in IMDB and 71% in Rotten Tomatoes.

 

Ride

Ride (2015)It’s about a mother who travels cross-country to California to be with her son after he decides to drop out of school and become a surfer.

This movie has not as good score as the Age of Adaline: 5.5 in IMDB and 40% in Rotten Tomatoes.

 

Besides those two new movies, there are many older great movies that are good to watch in Mother's Day. I pick a few of them for you.

The Blind Side (2009)

Stepmom (1998)This movie revolves around a terminally-ill mother has to settle on the new woman in her ex-husband's life, who will be her children new stepmother.

The score of this movie is 6.6 in IMDB and 75% in Rotten Tomatoes

 

Changeling (2008)

Changeling (2008)This movie is about a persistent and devotional mother (Angelina Jolie) who fights to find her missing 9-year old son.

The score of this move is 7.8 in IMDB and 82% in Rotten Tomatoes
